ONYX BOOX GO 6

Onyx Boox offers a new e-reader in the form of the Go 6. The 6-inch E Ink Carta 1300 display has a resolution of 300 PPI. The result is sharper and clearer text and images, with whites whiter and blacks deeper than before. The newest member of the company's Go lineup comes with a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor that, along with 2 GB of memory, delivers faster page turns and faster app launches. It uses Android 12 and comes with the Google Play Store pre-installed, which means access to many apps you might need.

While you can install any reading app you like, the Go 6 also comes with NeoReader, which the company said can recognize up to 20 document formats. In addition, you have other handy features such as text-to-speech, highlighting, adding notes, adjusting layouts, and so on. You can also choose from light and dark modes according to your preference. The 32GB of on-board storage space should be enough to take care of all your e-book or audiobook requirements. Then there's also a microSD card slot should you need even more storage.

The Go 6 also comes with a number of apps installed such as BOOXDrop, PushRead and AI Assitant. Running the device is a 1500 mAh battery that should last for a few weeks on a single charge. The adjustable front light offers brightness and temperature control, meaning optimal reading enjoyment regardless of ambient lighting. The e-reader is compact in size, measuring just 6.8 mm thick. In addition, with approximately 146 grams of Go, it almost fits in your pocket.
