Salente EcoBoost is a revolution in organic waste management. It mimics the processes that take place in nature, but does it in your home and at a dramatically accelerated pace. This electric composter works on a sophisticated three-phase principle. First, it dehydrates the organic waste during the drying phase - at a precisely controlled high temperature of 130 °C, which simultaneously eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and other unwanted micro-organisms. This is followed by the grinding phase, where the dried material is ground into a fine substrate using a stainless steel knife and mixing shaft. The final step is cooling, after which the final product is ready for safe use.
The original volume of bio-waste is reduced by up to 93% in the Salente EcoBoost electric composter, leaving only a handful of valuable substrate from a full bin that would otherwise end up in an incinerator or landfill. The result is dry and incredibly lightweight compost material that can be used as a nutritious natural fertiliser for houseplants, balcony flowers or garden beds. Alternatively, you can add it to a conventional garden composter as the perfect compost base.

The automatic programme processes your bio-waste into a dry compost substrate with optimal consistency in 4 to 5 hours. This program achieves the best results in composting and is the obvious choice for you when you have time to leave the machine running overnight or during the working day.
-You'll appreciate the fast programme when time is a racehorse. The process of composting bio-waste in this case only takes 1.5 to 3 hours - in this short time, you will have a substrate that is slightly wetter, but still perfectly functional for fertilising plants.
-The odour removal programme runs for a full 8 hours and uses only the fan. This mode is ideal for situations where your bio-waste is slower to accumulate at home (for example, a few days before composting) and you want to avoid unpleasant odours in your kitchen - this programme waves away odours while keeping organic materials in a state that doesn't attract nuisance insects such as vinegar beetles.

The double extra robust stainless steel chopping blade with a material thickness of 4 mm is designed to cope with even tougher materials such as eggshells or tougher vegetable scraps. And along with it, there's a robust four-arm mixing shaft with a non-stick surface - this combination ensures perfect processing of organic waste, while preventing bits of it from getting caught in the bowels of the system.

Odour doesn't stand a chance
An indispensable part of the electric composter is the anti-odour filter with activated carbon (with a lifetime of 300 hours of operation), which protects your kitchen from any unpleasant odours. This is what makes it possible to keep the composter not in a corner of the garden, but right at home. The filtration system also includes an additional washable foam pre-filter, which acts as a first line of defence and also extends the life of the main carbon filter.
