Smart appliance
You can also control your hob with your phone and the Home Connect app. For added convenience, use the intelligent hood automatic system, which means you connect the hob to the relevant Siemens hood, which then automatically adjusts the fan level to the temperature and power of the hob. A minute and timer keep an eye on the exact cooking time.

Modern sensor control
The touchSlider+ hob's highly intuitive controls allow you to adjust the temperature by touching it directly or sliding your finger along the temperature scale to the desired setting. Choose from up to 17 power settings. No knobs needed, just tap your finger on a spot on the scale and you've got your temperature selected. The comfort of operation is also enhanced by a digital display that shows you all the important information.

Even when the hob is switched off, there is a 2-stage residual heat indicator for each cooking zone. It is active until the hob has safely cooled down.

Cooking variability

Smartly connect the hob to the cooker hood
The Siemens ED851HSB1E hob can also be monitored remotely using the Home Connect app. It makes it easy to connect the hob to your chosen Siemens cooker hood. The cooker hood then adjusts the fan to the power and temperature of each cooking zone. When cooking is complete, the hood starts the automatic timer function.
