Cordierite stone is a special type of baking stone ...
Cordierite is a natural material (mineral) that tolerates high temperatures very well and does not crack even when heated or cooled rapidly
This makes it ideal for baking pizza, bread or cakes - in the oven, on the grill or in the oven
It maintains and distributes heat evenly, so your pizza will cook through beautifully and have a crispy, pizzeria-like crust
Stainless steel housing, double-glazed door and built-in lighting offer ease of use and durability. Includes a pizza peel, perfect for true pizza lovers who want to enjoy the flavours of a real Italian pizzeria at home.

Our tips for easier pizza preparation
The baking time and temperature depend on the thickness of the dough, the ingredients you choose and your personal preferences.
The type or brand of flour you use for the dough will affect the result. Type 00 flour is a wheat flour made from very finely ground, sifted wheat. This flour is ideal for pizza and produces a smooth and elastic dough. The flour will make your pizza beautifully crispy but soft inside.
Process the dough at room temperature. Cold dough is too elastic; too warm dough is too brittle.
Dust your hands and work surface with flour before working with the dough. Sprinkling the pizza peel with flour, semolina or cornmeal will prevent the dough from sticking. Use enough, but not too much flour. Leftover flour on the pizza stone can burn. This will cause a bitter taste and can lead to smoke or even fire.
Make sure the pizza peel is cool and clean before each use. This will prevent the dough from sticking to the paddle.
Shake the pizza peel gently before adding ingredients to the pizza to allow the dough to move freely. If it doesn't slide, add a little more flour under the crust.
Make sure your oven is fully preheated and ready before adding the pizza ingredients to reduce the chance of it sticking.
Do not overcrowd the pizza with ingredients. Don't add too much sauce or too many ingredients as they will weigh down your pizza and make it harder to fit in the oven.
If your pizza sticks, use a knife to loosen it
