2K 2560 × 1440  recordings at 30 fps ensure license plate legibility from several meters away. The 143° viewing angle covers a wide swathe of road, including shoulders. The camera operates without a built-in screen. Placed behind the rearview mirror, it does not obstruct the driver's view.

The F1.55 aperture lets in much more light than previous models (F2.0), ensuring clear footage in tunnels, dimly lit parking lots and after dark. The 70mai’s proprietary Super Night Vision algorithm brightens night shots and handles problematic light reflections from white license plates common in Europe and Asia, preserving key details. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology balances exposure and enhances contrast, so your recordings remain clear even in the most challenging lighting conditions.

The whole story of a collision – from the first to the last second
Accidents happen in the blink of an eye, but what happens before them is crucial. The emergency recording buffer function captures up to 3 minutes of footage before a crash and 30 seconds after, recording the complete story of the incident. All relevant footage goes into a dedicated “Emergency Recordings” folder accessible through the 70mai app, so no evidence will escape your attention. You can customize the length of the recording loop (1, 2 or 3 minutes) to suit your needs.

Your car under 24-hour protection
When you park, the G-Sensor watches over your vehicle – detecting a collision, it automatically triggers a 30-second recording that documents the potential incident. When you restart the camera, you receive a voice alert about the recorded incident. Time-Lapse Recording compresses 15 minutes of footage to just 1 minute (recording at 1 FPS), saving memory card space and allowing you to instantly catch important moments during quick playback. To activate parking surveillance, you need the 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit (plug-and-play without interfering with the fuse box) or the traditional Hardwire Kit UP03, UP06 or the 70mai Car Powerbank (all power accessories can be purchased as an optional extra).

A manually rotatable 360° lens in a miniature housing gives you the freedom to capture a view from the front, inside the cabin or rear of the vehicle – it all depends on your current needs. You can mount the camera on both the windshield and rear window, and the reflection and image rotation settings in the app solve the problem of mounting “upside down.” The ultra-thin design does not block the field of view while driving, providing maximum comfort. It’s ideal for single-camera owners who are considering the option of recording from the rear of the vehicle.
