Creative DIY Bath Bomb Making Kit – Colorful and Scented

Create your own fizzy bath bombs! This set allows children to prepare colorful, scented bath bombs that begin to dissolve and fizz intensively when dropped into warm water. It combines creative play with a simple experiment showing how baking soda and citric acid react with each other.

The contents of the set allow you to prepare up to 5 bath bombs . Children can choose colors, combine pigments, add fragrance and shape the mixture in decorative molds.

Colorful bath bombs made your way

The set includes 2 pigments , which can be used separately or mixed together to create new color combinations. The included fragrance gives the bath bombs a pleasant scent, while baby oil helps bind the ingredients into a mixture suitable for molding.

The set contains 3 molds , allowing bath bombs to be made in different shapes. Simply press the prepared mixture firmly into the mold and leave it for several hours to set.

Why does the bath bomb fizz?

When the bath bomb is placed in water, baking soda reacts with citric acid, producing carbon dioxide bubbles. These bubbles are responsible for the characteristic fizzing, foaming and bubbling effect.

How to make a bath bomb

1. Add approx. 20 g of baking soda and 10 g of citric acid to a container and mix thoroughly.
2. Add 3–4 drops of baby oil and approx. 2 drops of fragrance.
3. Mix until the mixture resembles slightly damp sand.
4. If you want to make a multicolored bath bomb, divide the mixture into several portions.
5. Add 1–2 drops of the selected pigment and mix thoroughly.
6. Place the mixture into the mold and press firmly to remove any gaps.
7. Leave it to set for several hours, then carefully remove it from the mold.
8. Drop the finished bath bomb into warm water and watch it fizz.
