Fosi Audio has kept this in mind and developed the Q4, a compact DAC and headphone amplifier that combines the worlds of Hi-Fi audio and gaming. Using USB, you can easily connect this multifunctional box to your computer and without the need to install any software, driver or application, you can get straight into the game.

Wide range of inputs and dual-band equalizer
A wide range of inputs from the aforementioned USB-B, to optical and coaxial S/PDIF ensures that the Q4 will be compatible with your audio system. The built-in headphone amplifier can power most headphones on the market with an impedance of 16 - 200 ?. A 3.5mm jack input is used to connect headphones. The average power output of the amplifier is 160 mW @32 ?. The frequency range of the device is 20 Hz - 20 kHz and the harmonic distortion is < 0.01% THD. On the front panel you will also find a two-band equalizer with corrections for treble and bass. With RCA outputs, you can also connect the Q4 to your speakers and use it as the master volume controller for your PC or Mac. Signal conversion is provided by the NE5532 chip from Texas Instruments. The device can work with resolutions up to 24 bit / 192 KHz.
