At the heart of the device is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 226V from the Intel Core Ultra Series 2, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced N3B process technology. This unit offers 8 cores, 8 threads, and a Turbo clock speed of up to 4.5 GHz, allowing the Mini PC to handle everyday office work, advanced multitasking, and more demanding tasks with ease. Thanks to 8 MB of Intel® Smart Cache, the system runs smoothly, responsively, and without annoying delays.
This is no ordinary mini PC—the GMKtec K17 is built for the era of artificial intelligence. The built-in Intel® AI Boost NPU delivers up to 40 TOPS of AI computing power, while the Intel® Arc™ 130V GPU adds another 53 TOPS. Together, this delivers up to 97 TOPS of AI performance, which translates to smoother operation of AI-powered tools, faster data processing, process automation, and better performance in modern business and creative applications.
The integrated Intel® Arc™ 130V GPU, operating at up to 1.85 GHz, ensures smooth multimedia playback, dynamic multi-display performance, comfortable use of graphics tools, and a highly responsive interface. This solution is designed for users who expect more than just basic integrated graphics.
The computer comes factory-equipped with a fast 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, which guarantees quick system boot-up, instant program loading, and efficient file access. If you need more space, the GMKtec K17 offers the option to expand storage up to 16 TB thanks to support for two M.2 2280 NVMe drives. The LPDDR5X memory with a bandwidth of up to 8533 MT/s ensures exceptionally fast system and application performance.
Small size doesn’t mean compromises. The GMKtec K17 supports simultaneous operation on three screens, offering an impressive resolution of up to 8K. You have access to HDMI 2.1 FRL (8K@60Hz), HDMI 2.1 TMDS (4K@60Hz), and USB4 with DisplayPort support at 4K@60Hz. It’s the perfect solution for traders, programmers, analysts, content creators, and anyone who works with multiple windows simultaneously.
The GMKtec K17 provides a full suite of modern interfaces. On the front, you’ll find USB4 offering data transfer speeds up to 40 Gb/s, DisplayPort support, and PD 3.0 power delivery up to 100 W, as well as USB 3.2 ports for quickly connecting accessories. The rear features additional USB ports, a 2.5G RJ45 Ethernet port, and HDMI outputs. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 6E with speeds up to 2.4 Gb/s and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring a fast and stable connection to the network and peripheral devices.
Stable operation is ensured by an advanced cooling system with dual heat pipes and a quiet fan, supported by intelligent temperature control. The design is engineered for effective heat dissipation and reduced dust accumulation, resulting in quieter operation and a longer device lifespan. You can choose from several performance modes—ranging from the quiet 20 W mode, through the balanced 25 W mode, to the Performance mode at 35 W (37 W peak)—allowing you to easily tailor the computer’s performance to your needs.
