Teltonika RUT981 is a 4G LTE router using a Telit Cat 4 modem, designed to maintain a connection to the mobile network in installations operating in different regions of the world. The device is suitable, among other things, for monitoring systems, automation, power engineering, transport, retail points and IoT solutions requiring constant Internet access.

Wi-Fi and four Ethernet ports

The router allows devices to be connected both wirelessly via Wi-Fi and by cable using four Ethernet ports. This configuration makes it easier to integrate computers, cameras, controllers, payment terminals and other elements of the network infrastructure. RUT981 can serve as a central Internet access point in installations involving several devices.

Dual SIM, eSIM and connection continuity protection

Support for two SIM cards and eSIM allows the use of profiles from different operators and reduces the need to physically replace the card when configuring distributed installations. The eSIM bootstrap function helps to initially download the operator profile, while WAN Failover automatically switches the connection to the available backup link. Load balancing makes it possible to distribute traffic between connections, helping to maintain efficient device communication.
