Handcuff Escape Game – Crack the Maze and Break Free First!
Can you escape before everyone else? The
Handcuff Escape Game
is a skill and logic game in which players put on handcuffs, choose a maze and try to guide a special key through its twists and turns as quickly as possible.
Simply turning the key is not enough – you need to find the correct path by moving it up, down, left and right.
The set includes
4 handcuffs and 12 interchangeable mazes with 3 difficulty levels
. Each level contains 4 different maze layouts, so once one challenge is mastered, you can move on to the next.
3 difficulty levels – the mazes are color-coded:
-
green – easy level
-
yellow – intermediate level
-
red – advanced level
In total, there are
12 different mazes – 4 for each difficulty level
.
How to prepare the game
Each player takes one handcuff. Insert the selected maze into the mechanism, place the maze cover on top and rotate it until it locks into place. Then put the handcuff around your wrist.
The handcuffs can also be connected together with chains, so players can begin the game as one “trapped” group.
How to play
After the start signal, each player takes their special key and inserts it into the handcuff mechanism. Then the race begins:
-
Insert the key into the mechanism.
-
Guide it through the maze.
-
Move the key up and down and rotate it in the correct direction.
-
Reach the end of the maze.
-
Open the handcuff and free your hand.
The player who escapes first chooses the victory token with the highest number of points in the color corresponding to the current difficulty level. After each round, players can change the maze and move on to a harder level.
After completing all three levels, add up the points from the collected tokens. The player with the highest score wins.
More than one way to play
The set also offers several additional game modes:
-
Double Trouble
– 2 players and 4 handcuffs; each player has both wrists locked, and the first person to free both hands wins.
-
Versus Battle
– 2 vs 2 team play; players help free their teammate.
-
Spy in the Dark
– 2–4 players try to unlock the handcuffs with the lights turned off.
-
Break Free King
– each player starts with an easy maze, then moves on to intermediate and advanced levels; the first player to complete all 3 levels wins.
-
Winner Takes It All
– the winner of each round immediately moves on to the next level while the others try to catch up.
-
Weak Hand Battle
– once the game is mastered, try controlling the key with your non-dominant hand.
-
Ultimate Break Free Challenge
– a solo mode in which one player tries to complete all difficulty levels as an individual challenge.
Thanks to these different modes, the same set can be used for a quick race or a longer tournament.
Emergency release
If a player gets stuck in the maze, the handcuffs feature an
emergency release mechanism
. After removing the maze cover, the back end of the key can be used to press the emergency release button and open the handcuff without completing the maze.
Set includes:
-
4 handcuffs
-
4 unlocking keys
-
4 maze covers
-
4 easy mazes
-
4 intermediate mazes
-
4 advanced mazes
-
12 victory tokens
