Fischersund No. 8 - EDP

Fischersund No. 8 is a fresh fragrance inspired by childhood memories in the small village of Mosfellsveit near Reykjavík. It evokes long days spent outdoors, cycling, exploring the surrounding nature and the carefree feeling of childhood freedom. It also reflects the memory of my grandmother and her regular visits, accompanied by the smell of freshly baked goodies. In the opening, juicy rhubarb and grapefruit combine with petitgrain to create a fresh, slightly sour and green beginning. The heart is made up of spruce and birch leaves, which give the fragrance a natural, woody character and evoke the cool air of a humid coniferous forest. The base develops with fir balsam, warm amber and an unusual asphalt accord, which gives the composition personality and reminds of a hot road heated by the summer sun. No. 8 captures a whole world of childhood memories – new sneakers, crushed flower stems on hot asphalt, lemon candies, sweet honey with freshly picked rhubarb, and crumbs of orange cake in the pocket of clean clothes. All this is complemented by the cool wind in the hair and the scent of a damp pine forest.
