4K HDR recording
4K HDR recording captures detailed footage of what is happening in front of the vehicle. HDR helps manage significant lighting contrasts—such as the difference between bright sunlight and dim, shadowed areas.
70mai’s MaiColor Vivid+, Night Owl Vision, and Lumi Vision image processing technologies help enhance image clarity, adjust exposure, and better highlight important details, such as license plates. They also help mitigate the impact of tinted windshields and reflections on the footage. An F/1.55 aperture lens allows more light to enter the camera, ensuring high-quality recording even in low-light conditions.
Recording before and after an incident
Buffered emergency recording helps capture the sequence of events leading up to and following a collision. The system records up to 190 seconds before the impact and 30 seconds after, depending on the timing of the recording cycle and the selected cycle length. Emergency videos are saved to a separate folder, making them easy to locate within the 70mai app.
Parking surveillance for 24/7 protection
When the vehicle is parked, a G-sensor detects collisions or impacts. Upon detection, the camera initiates a 30-second recording and provides a voice notification the next time the vehicle is started. In parking mode, the time-lapse function records one frame per second, allowing you to view a longer period in a condensed video format while saving storage space.
To use parking surveillance features, the 70mai Hardwire Kit (sold separately) is required.
4G Connectivity and Remote Access
The camera supports 4G Cloud+ 2.0 connectivity, enabling advanced features such as remote access to recordings, cloud backup for emergency footage, internet sharing, and two-way audio. While the camera hardware supports this connectivity, the full range of features is activated via an official software update.
Through the built-in 4G hotspot, the internet connection can be shared with up to five devices simultaneously—for example, the phones or tablets of fellow passengers.
GPS, Driver Assistance, and Voice Control
Built-in GPS records your driving location, speed, and time. The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) provides alerts regarding potentially hazardous driving situations. Multilingual voice control allows you to operate key functions without taking your hands off the steering wheel. Supported languages include English, Mandarin, Russian, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai.
Fast File Transfer and Large Storage Capacity
WiFi 6 connectivity enables the wireless transfer of recordings at speeds of up to 25 MB/s. The camera supports microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB, allowing you to store a greater volume of high-resolution video footage.
The compact design is intended for installation behind the rearview mirror, ensuring the camera does not obstruct the driver's field of view. A supercapacitor helps ensure reliability even in extreme temperature conditions and protects stored data in the event of an unexpected power failure.
