MOES WSS-CO Wi-Fi Carbon Monoxide Detector

The MOES WSS-CO is a smart carbon monoxide (CO) detector that provides an immediate response to a hazard thanks to a loud 85 dB alarm and notifications in the mobile app. The device connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network without the need for an additional hub, which significantly simplifies installation. Support for the Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps enables remote monitoring and control, while integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant allows for convenient management of the system within a smart home.

Instant notifications and remote control

The sensor alerts you to carbon monoxide detection not only with an audible alarm but also by sending instant notifications to your smartphone. This allows you to react quickly even when you’re not at home. The remote test feature lets you verify the device’s proper functioning via the app, and voice prompts further enhance the clarity of alerts and ensure safe use.

Effective protection in various rooms

The WSS-CO model is ideal for many areas at risk of carbon monoxide exposure, such as boiler rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, hallways, basements, and garages. The sensor helps detect dangerous situations, such as leaks in the system, aging pipes, or gas appliances left on. It is particularly important in enclosed spaces, where carbon monoxide buildup can pose a serious threat to health and life.

Integration with the system and additional devices

The device is equipped with SIG- and SIG+ connectors for connecting a solenoid valve and relay outputs (NC/NO/COM), enabling it to work with additional safety system components. As a result, the sensor can not only alert you to a hazard but also interact with the system to mitigate it. The 100–240V AC power supply ensures compatibility with typical electrical installations.

Flexible installation and precise operation

The sensor can be mounted either on the ceiling or near the floor—depending on the characteristics of the gas being detected—while maintaining a distance of approximately 30 cm from the surface. It is also recommended to place the device at an appropriate distance from the gas source, such as a stove. The maximum detection range is up to 4 meters in diameter, allowing for effective monitoring of the selected room and rapid detection of hazards.
