Front disc brake Shimano GRX BL-RX825+BR-RX820
New for the 12-speed GRX 1 x 12 speed is the BL-RX825-L hydraulic brake lever combined with the BR-RX820 flat-mount disc brake caliper. This braking-only brake lever offers the same ergonomic perfection as SHIMANO RX825 DUAL CONTROL LEVER levers, including raised covers with ribbed surface and non-slip brake levers, but does not include electronic shift buttons and offers a lighter and easier 1x adjustment option.
For your riding freedom: the Gravel GRX BL-RX825-L + BR-RX820 disc brake from Shimano
Advanced Di2 Button Features - Shifting Versatility Whether you're using the new BL-RX825-L brake lever or sticking with the GRX ST-RX825 DUAL CONTROL lever pair, Shimano's 12-speed GRX levers offer a range of shifting options with customizable Di2 buttons and additional switches.
Taking over from previous generations, the GRX RX825 DUAL CONTROL levers feature three Di2 buttons - two buttons are located on the shifters, while the third button is located on the inside of the lever cover. The RX825 levers also allow the use of additional shift buttons that can be placed on the top, bottom or aero bars for additional shifting options. Each Di2 button mentioned above can be assigned a variety of functions, including shifting, controlling compatible lights and bike computers, or can be used as a remote shift button. With this last option, riders can make shift adjustments on the fly without taking their hands off the handlebars.
SHIMANO debuts in the fully wireless dropstick segment with the new GRX Di2 1x12-speed components specifically designed for gravel. The GRX RX827 utilizes the wireless cockpit introduced on SHIMANO's 2x12-speed road and gravel groupsets and incorporates the fully wireless technology introduced on the M9200 XTR series derailleur. It offers a fully wireless drivetrain designed for performance, durability and versatility. With the RX827, the GRX series now includes a comprehensive range of mechanical and electronic shifting options in both 1x12 and 2x12 speed configurations, allowing riders to customize the drivetrain to their unique gravel riding requirements.
Designed to be close to the rider, the GRX RX827 offers freedom of choice without being tethered. With no special frame requirements, it can easily be installed on any gravel bike you own. This allows you to upgrade your favorite bike with the latest technology and take it on even more adventures. The GRX 1x12 speed system, based on the RD-RX827 wireless derailleur, gives gravel riders unparalleled chain control and precise shifting.
The new system is designed for smooth performance on a variety of terrain, whether it's racing, road exploring or all-day adventures.
Fully wireless Di2 platform - Designed for maximum reliability, the Di2 wireless system offers fast, precise shifting and compatibility with all SHIMANO 12-speed wireless shifters (GRX, DURA-ACE, ULTEGRA, SHIMANO 105 Di2 extended handlebar variants, as well as Di2 models with XTR and DEORE XT flat bars).
Robust drivetrain for gravel - Borrowing its design from SHIMANO's MTB Di2 range, the RX827 derailleur features the same low-profile design, protective cover, ??protected battery and automatic crash recovery function.
Improved ergonomics - Improved grip, clean cockpit design and unmatched customization options for superior handling and comfort.
Enhanced versatility - Added GRX component options allow riders to optimize performance based on terrain, style and personal preference.
The new GRX 1x12 speed drivetrain combines the RD-RX827 wireless derailleur with existing SHIMANO RX825 Di2 DUAL CONTROL LEVER levers, RX820 cranks, brakes and XT 10-51T cassette. This combination delivers the signature SHIMANO Di2 performance in a sleek and robust 12-speed design. Riders can choose between 40T or 42T derailleurs and pair them with SHIMANO MICRO SPLINE 10-51T cassettes. Similarly, the RX827 offers an electronic mountain bike/adventure option with low handlebar that utilizes mountain bike crankset standards. Whether you're climbing steep trails or traversing flat sections, the GRX system adapts to any riding style or terrain.
