The Angel™ XT Urban tyres are specifically designed to meet the needs of road or light off-road use and are the perfect choice for your everyday adventures in the city and beyond. Featuring a pattern with distinctive lugs on the tread sides, based on the MT60™ RS motorcycle tire, this tire allows for responsive handling, comfort and grip on the road, and excellent traction on lighter unpaved terrain or gravel. These features are made possible by the different lug shapes: lower in the middle of the tread for fast rolling on asphalt, and higher in the outermost part of the tread for use on lighter terrain. The tyre profile, derived from motorcycle practice, provides the necessary grip even when cornering. The 5mm rubber protection layer is an important part of the construction for smooth riding on lighter trails beyond the city limits or in town.

TECHNOLOGY

PROCompound Urban

Rubber compound with silicone content is mixed for best application and use in the city and on cycle paths. It features good grip, low rolling resistance, and excellent durability.



HyperBELT

A 5mm thick puncture protection layer combined with a 60tpi cut resistant nylon skeleton. Excellent protection and comfort regardless of road surface quality.



MultiRadius Profile

The profile is sharper in the middle of the tread for responsiveness and more rounded towards the edges. The result is maximum handling and tread contact area with the substrate.



CERTIFICATION

E-bike Ready

The entire Angel™ Urban range is ECE-R75 certified, meaning the tyres meet European standards for the needs of fast e-bikes that can reach speeds of up to 50km/h.



Reflective stripes

Reflective stripes meet the requirements of European ECE-R88 regulations, which specify that the reflection of light from the reflective stripe is sufficiently visible even at unfavourable angles.
