The Angel™ GT Urban is named after the Angel™ GT motorcycle tire, which has won several comparison tests in trade magazines because both the motorcycle and bicycle versions are characterized by their speed, grip and predictable handling. It is the solution for those customers who are performance-oriented and want a dynamic tyre for all possible conditions and for all types of urban and touring bikes/electric bikes. The tire construction is reinforced with a 5mm thick HyperBELT protective layer to protect against punctures and to withstand the rigors of urban riding. The grooves in the tread, together with the PROCompound Urban rubber compound, allow the tire to offer dynamic handling characteristics, higher riding speeds and be ready to face any asphalt conditions on roads and trails, even in wet conditions. The Angel™ GT Urban tire profile, patented and derived from motorcycle experience, is shaped for an agile ride in traffic, yet comfortable and completely controlled during commuting or leisure riding.

TECHNOLOGY

PROCompound Urban

Rubber compound with silicone content is mixed for best application and use in the city and on cycle paths. It features good grip, low rolling resistance, and excellent durability.



HyperBELT

A 5mm thick puncture protection layer combined with a 60tpi cut resistant nylon skeleton. Excellent protection and comfort regardless of road surface quality.



MultiRadius Profile

The profile is sharper in the middle of the tread for responsiveness and more rounded towards the edges. The result is maximum handling and tread contact area with the substrate.



CERTIFICATION

E-bike Ready

The entire Angel™ Urban range is ECE-R75 certified, meaning the tyres meet European standards for the needs of fast e-bikes that can reach speeds of up to 50km/h.



Reflective stripes

Reflective stripes meet the requirements of European ECE-R88 regulations, which specify that the reflection of light from the reflective stripe is sufficiently visible even at unfavourable angles.
