At the heart of the knife is a 2mm thick blade made of Swedish 12C27 stainless steel made by Alleima, hardened to 56.5 HRC . The 22-24° Scandinavian (Scandi) grind provides excellent control when planing, carving or preparing kindling, and the 37-39° edge gives an optimal compromise between aggressive sharpness and durability. The blade goes deep into the handle, which increases structural stability and precision for tasks that require close-fingered operation.
