Uni-T UT691-10 Visual Fault Locator
The Uni-T UT691-10 is a compact visual fault locator designed to detect issues in fiber optic installations, identify fibers, and perform routine maintenance tasks. The device uses visible red light with a wavelength of 650 ± 10 nm and offers two laser operating modes, allowing you to conveniently adapt its operation to the type of task at hand. The non-slip housing, IP54 protection rating, and compact design make this model well-suited for field work.
Higher power and greater operating range
The UT691-10 model offers a laser output power of at least 10 mW and enables operation on fiber optic sections ranging from 8 to 10 km in length. This makes it better suited for more demanding applications where a greater fault location range is required. The universal 2.5 mm FC connector, along with continuous and pulse modes, enhance user comfort and simplify daily diagnostics.
Compact design for field work
The device is equipped with a 3.7 V 1050 mAh lithium-polymer battery, providing over 7 hours of operation. It features a battery level indicator, an LED flashlight, and an auto-off function after 15 minutes with manual adjustment.
