The installation cable, designated SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM, is an outdoor self-supporting shielded CAT5E cable with a polyethylene jacket. The cable is designed for outdoor installations where conventional PVC or LSOH sheathed data cable does not provide sufficient protection against environmental influences. This cable is also equipped with a supporting steel wire placed in a separate insulation, which allows this cable to be used as self-supporting, up to a distance of 70m. Together with the other components of the Solarix structured cabling system, it creates a solution that guarantees long life, maximum performance and trouble-free operation of the computer network. Solarix installation cables - category 5E are designed for horizontal distribution and are offered in shielded and unshielded versions with different sheath types - i.e. PVC, LSOH or UV stable PE. These cables seamlessly meet the requirements defined in the international standards ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 for category 5E and are also suitable for data transmission speeds up to 1 Gbps (i.e. gigabit Ethernet).
Like other Solarix cables, the SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM cable is marked with meter gauges in 1m increments ranging from 0 to 305m. The cable is supplied on a high-strength wooden spool, on which all necessary product information is provided, including barcodes, batch, description and the most important technical parameters (e.g. NVP in the form of a QR code).
