About the artist

This unique design was created in collaboration with distinguished British artist Gordon Hunt . Hunt focuses on capturing light and color , saying his paintings portray "not trees themselves, but the light and colors surrounding them." Together with the PITAKA brand, he utilized tension-control fiber weaving—known as Fusion Weave – LightRipple technology—to translate his artistic vision into high-performance aramid fiber, creating an effect of moving golden highlights.
