Professional hardwire kit (car charger) with a USB-C connector for direct power supply to Dahua T5 series dashcams.

The car charger allows you to connect the dashcam directly to the vehicle’s fuse box, freeing up the cigarette lighter socket for other devices. Thanks to its USB-C output connector and a current of up to 3 A, it provides a stable power supply and supports the time-lapse video function while parked.

The device is equipped with built-in battery discharge protection that automatically disconnects the camera when the battery voltage drops below 11.8 V (±0.2 V), thereby protecting the vehicle’s battery from excessive discharge. With extremely low power consumption in standby mode (0.01 W), it is ideal for long-term monitoring of a parked vehicle.

Flexible installation options
The hardwire kit offers two wiring methods depending on the desired monitoring mode. For continuous 24-hour monitoring, including while parked, connect the red wire to the BAT terminal in the fuse box. If you prefer monitoring only while driving, connect the red wire to the ACC terminal, which is active only when the ignition is on. In both cases, the black wire (negative terminal) connects to the vehicle’s ground.

Vehicle Battery Protection
The built-in low-voltage protection automatically shuts down the dashcam when the vehicle battery voltage drops below the safe level of 11.8 V (±0.2 V). This feature effectively protects the vehicle battery from excessive discharge, which could cause starting problems.

The hardwire kit is specifically designed for use with Dahua T5 series dashcams, providing them with optimal power for all their functions, including advanced parking mode and time-lapse recording.
