Digital Microscope for Children LED HD 1000x – 2” Screen, Photos, Videos, English Menu and Stand
A leaf, a fabric fibre or an insect wing – the digital microscope reveals details that cannot be seen with the naked eye!
The LED HD digital microscope is a modern educational set for children who are curious about nature and the world around them. The device can be used to observe leaves, flowers, fabric fibres, paper, small objects, prepared slides and many other interesting specimens.
The microscope features a 2” colour screen, adjustable optical magnification from 200x to 1000x and LED illumination. The observed image is displayed directly on the screen, eliminating the need to look through a traditional eyepiece.
The photo and video functions allow children to save their most interesting observations, view them again later and create their own collection of discoveries. An important advantage of the device is its English-language menu, which makes it easier to explore and operate the microscope’s functions.
Magnification from 200x to 1000x
Adjustable magnification allows children to examine the fine surface details of various objects. They can explore the structure of a leaf, the weave of fabric, paper fibres, flower petals, feathers, hair or small natural objects collected during a walk.
The large focus adjustment knob helps adapt the image to the distance between the lens and the object. The focusing range is 0–45 mm.
2” Colour Screen
The built-in 2” LED screen displays the observed specimen in real time. This makes the microscope more comfortable to use than a traditional model that requires constant viewing through an eyepiece.
Clearly arranged buttons on both sides of the screen allow the user to change modes, navigate the menu, select settings and browse saved files.
English Menu – 12 Languages Available
An important advantage of the microscope is its English-language menu, which makes it easier for children to explore the device and operate its functions independently.
The microscope offers a total of 12 language versions, including English. The clearly arranged buttons can be used to:
-
change operating modes,
-
navigate the settings,
-
select available functions,
-
confirm selected options,
-
take photographs,
-
start and stop video recording,
-
browse saved photographs and videos.
Photo and Video Recording
The microscope offers three main operating modes:
-
photography,
-
video recording,
-
viewing saved files.
Photographs are saved in JPG format, while videos are recorded in AVI format. A TF memory card is required to save photographs and recordings and is not included in the set.
Available Resolutions
-
Photo resolution: 1920 × 1080 px or 1280 × 720 px
-
Video resolution: 1920 × 1080 px or 1280 × 720 px
-
Video frame rate: 20–30 frames per second
The device features a TF memory card slot and a USB-C port for charging the rechargeable battery.
Adjustable LED Illumination
Built-in LEDs illuminate the observed object, helping to produce a clear and detailed image. The brightness can be adjusted to suit the type of specimen and the lighting conditions in the room.
Correctly adjusting the illumination, focus and distance between the lens and the specimen helps reveal more interesting details.
Three Observation Options
The microscope can be used in several ways:
-
held directly in the hand,
-
placed in the desktop base,
-
attached to the flexible portable stand.
Handheld mode is useful for examining irregularly shaped objects and conducting observations away from home. The desktop base helps stabilise the device above a specimen, while the small flexible stand can be conveniently placed on a desk or table.
The included safety strap helps protect the microscope from being accidentally dropped during handheld observations.
Adjustable Desktop Base
The microscope can be placed in a special base with a specimen platform. The side knob allows the height of the device to be adjusted, helping to set the correct distance between the lens and the observed object.
The stable construction makes it easier to adjust the focus and examine a selected area without constantly moving the microscope.
Preparing Original Specimens
The set includes accessories for collecting and preparing small samples:
-
specimen shovel,
-
tweezers,
-
dissecting needle,
-
dissecting knife,
-
microscope slides.
A thin sample can be placed on a slide, covered with the appropriate element and then observed under the microscope. A drop of water may be used with transparent samples to make positioning the material easier.
Sharp accessories must only be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
Built-In Rechargeable Battery and Battery Power
-
The microscope can be powered by a built-in 3.7 V, 600 mAh lithium battery. It is charged through the USB-C port using the included cable.
-
The device can also be powered by 2 × 1.5 V AA batteries, which are not included in the set.
-
Rechargeable battery: 3.7 V, 600 mAh lithium battery
-
Charging: via USB-C port
-
Charging time: approximately 60 minutes
-
Operating time: up to approximately 150 minutes
-
Battery power: 2 × 1.5 V AA batteries – not included
The actual operating time may vary depending on the selected mode, the type of batteries used and the brightness settings of the screen and LED illumination.
Learning Through Independent Discovery
Using the microscope can encourage children to ask questions, compare different objects and carry out simple experiments independently.
Observations may support:
-
an interest in nature and science,
-
concentration,
-
observational skills,
-
logical thinking,
-
patience and accuracy,
-
comparison skills,
-
independent thinking and drawing conclusions.
The microscope can be an interesting addition to home experiments, nature activities and biology lessons.
