TFA 30.5055.01 - Digital thermometer with hygrometer - juodas

With this small and handy thermo-humidistat you can easily monitor the temperature and humidity and regulate them if necessary. The device also displays maximum and minimum readings and can be attached to metal surfaces using the two small magnets on the back or placed on a flat surface using the flip-up stand. The display also shows the comfort level calculated by the currently measured temperature and humidity: a smiling face indicates when conditions are ideal, a neutral or sad face indicates a medium or poor condition. You can choose from four different application areas for the thermo-humidistat: room climate, musical instruments, turtle and humidor. Indoor climate: Whether we feel comfortable indoors depends largely on the quality of the indoor air. Controlling indoor temperature and humidity through targeted heating and ventilation creates a comfortable and healthy living environment and even saves heating costs. Most people are comfortable with a room temperature of 19-25°C and a relative humidity of 40-60%. Musical instruments: Wooden musical instruments such as pianos, violins and guitars are sensitive to climatic conditions. Wood is a hygroscopic material; when the humidity is high, moisture is absorbed and objects can become warped. If the ambient air is too dry, moisture is sucked out and cracks appear. The optimum climatic conditions for most wooden musical instruments are 18-24 °C and 45-55% relative humidity. Check that these values also apply to your own instrument. Particularly important when storing musical instruments: climatic conditions should remain as constant as possible. Observe the stored maximum and minimum values and avoid strong fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Turtle: As cold-blooded animals, turtles kept in terrariums are dependent on adequate heat sources. Maintaining conditions that are too dry can lead to disease and dehydration. The conditions for the "Tortoise" regime correspond to the ideal conditions for the European tortoise. During the active phase, 25-32 °C and 45-65 % relative humidity are optimal. Please make sure that your turtle species does not require different rearing conditions. Humidor: A high humidity level is essential for the durability of the cigars. For this reason, cigars are stored in a special container with an integrated humidification system called a humidor. At 65-75 % relative humidity and 18-22 °C, most cigars retain their full aroma and can be stored for years.
