Excellent optics
Although Levenhuk LabZZ M101 is a microscope designed for children, its optics are comparable to many ‘adult’ microscopes available on the market. The revolving nosepiece has three objective lenses – that allows you to quickly change magnification power of the instrument without pausing your observations. Moreover, the microscope is equipped with a sliding eyepiece with 10x and 16x magnifications. It is more convenient than two separate eyepieces – a kid won’t need to change them; therefore they won’t get lost. It is very easy to use. The microscope provides six levels of magnification: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.

Observing microscope samples
The microscope is designed for viewing microscope objects in transmitted light – you can use prepared specimens from the kit or make your own. The prrepared specimen should be placed on the stage and fixed with two clips – then it won’t move even if you accidently nudge the instrument. Light (emitted by lower illumination source) passes through the studied sample and creates the magnified image in the eyepiece. The brightness is adjustable, as different samples require different level of light.

Convenience and safety
A child doesn't need a heavy professional instrument. More importantly, it should be lightweight and reliable at the same time. The microscope body is made or high-quality plastic; that’s why the microscope is lightweight, yet durable and reliable.
