Jokomisiada Contrasting educational mat playpen + balls rustling book ZA5826

An activity mat is an absolute must-have when it comes to baby toys. It should be included in every well-stocked layette and is also a great gift idea for a toddler and new parents.

Why choose this model?

• Newborns don't see clearly and are best at contrasts. A black and white mat with red elements stimulates the sense of sight from the first days of life.
• Contrasting elements (black, white, and red) help develop visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
• Regular visual stimulation positively impacts cognitive development.
• The high-contrast images on the mat encourage tummy time and lifting the head and arms, which supports the development of neck, back, and shoulder muscles—an important preparation for later stages—rolling, crawling, and walking.
• Dangling elements and pendants encourage the baby to reach out, grasp, and move—this helps develop eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.
• A play mirror—the baby sees faces, movements, and facial expressions. This is an excellent exercise for visual focus and tracking movements – key skills in visual development.
• The mat can grow with your child! Surrounded by a fabric mesh wall, the mat transforms into a playpen with balls in a matter of moments.
• A well-designed mat can keep your child occupied for a while, giving young parents a moment to grab a coffee :)
