KNYGA Wei Wu Geotechnical Engineering of River Embankments

This book presents the outcome of a two-year multilateral research project on “Climate change resistant Danube river embankments”. The 22 papers by the project partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech, Serbia and Slovakia represent the state of the art in the research on Danube river embankments. The broad topic spectrum includes laboratory testing, constitutive model, numerical simulations, slope stability, remediation techniques, grouting, cutoff wall, levee monitoring, groundwater control, forensic reports, experience reports, and climate change impact. This book is an excellent reference for researchers, engineers and graduate students.
