KNYGA Skye Gyngell A Year In My Kitchen

'In memory of our beautiful mother, we wanted to republish her first book, A Year in my Kitchen, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. Launching this book was a huge milestone in her career, and she was immensely proud of it. To us and to so many others it has become a bible: filled with the recipes we grew up with and continue to cook for ourselves and the people we love. We hope it becomes a staple in your kitchen too, and that you think of her when you toss a salad, cook for friends, or remember that almost everything is better with a generous knob of butter.' Evie Henderson and Holly Gore‘Between these covers is what Skye did so superbly – understated food of deep flavour and quiet elegance.’ Nigel Slater‘Sorely missed, gone too soon. At least we have Skye’s beautifully considered A Year in my Kitchen to bolster memories of wonderful cooking and dishes at the very heart of so much of what Skye loved. ' Jeremy Lee‘Skye not only made the food I wanted to eat, she wrote the recipes I wanted to cook, and then put them on the plate in a simple and extraordinarily beautiful way.’ Claire PtakTwenty years since its original publication, rediscover why this award-winning cookbook became an instant classic.First published in 2006, A Year In My Kitchen consolidated the already remarkable reputation of its author, the late Skye Gyngell, as a truly inspirational figure.
