KNYGA Michael Coren Diary of a Low-Born Cleric

Writer and priest the Reverend Michael Coren shares the joyful, heart-rending, and thought-provoking moments that fill his life. Michael Coren is a rare figure: He’s an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Canada working in a parish and also an internationally known columnist and bestselling author. In Diary of a Low-Born Cleric, he shares a year of his journal entries, chronicling the everyday life of a cleric who deals with a public profile, and sometimes controversy, as a writer. He writes of pain and loss, suffering and poverty, joy and love, and many other aspects of what a priest sees on a regular basis. He combines this with political observations, historical case studies, and moral arguments to produce what is a unique and extraordinary diary. “This godless heathen was enchanted, amused, and wholly engaged by Michael Coren's delightful book. He could almost make me a believer … he certainly makes me believe that humanity, honour, diligence, insight and sweetness of nature are not wholly absent from his Church.” — Stephen Fry
