KNYGA Jake Wallis Simons Never Again

When seen through Jewish eyes, the global future looks darker than it has for generations. Fuelled by a delusional and venomous Israelophobia, violence against Jews, from Amsterdam to Melbourne, from Paris to Dagestan, is back. Jews across the West are forced to hide their identities, while in the supposed safe haven of Israel - which is increasingly politically toxic under Benjamin Netanyahu - they live under constant threat of rocket fire, shootings and stabbings. It is no exaggeration to say that we are seeing the end of the golden age of postwar safety for Jews. In the West, much of this antisemitism comes from the radical Left and its alliance with Islamists, which dominate university campuses and cultural institutions. But those tempted to place their faith in the nemesis of progressives, the erratic Donald Trump, must contend with his indulgence of brazen antisemites like Nick Fuentes, Kanye West and Tucker Carlson. This urgent new polemic from the author of the prophetic Israelophobia maps the maze of hostility in which Jews now find themselves trapped. Charting the development of this dangerous cultural and geopolitical moment through a collapse in confident Western leadership since the Cold War, the award-winning writer and foreign correspondent Jake Wallis Simons considers the safety of Jews as a barometer of the health of the West, arguing that civil society must stand up for liberal democracy before it is too late.
