KNYGA Andrew Raymond The Glowing Man

Some monsters hide in the light… When a young woman is discovered crowned with burnt gorse in a disused quarry in rural Ayrshire, DCI Lomond is tasked with hunting a ritual killer. As his Major Investigations Team peel back the layers of the local communities, they find links to cold cases of missing women and children – all written off or forgotten. Now they must confront a terrifying possibility: a killer has been operating across the county for years. But Lomond’s cold cases throw up more questions than answers: why did so many witnesses describe a suspect seen at night who glowed with light? Why did so many of those witnesses end up dead in suspicious circumstances? And why does a task force with powerful political connections want Lomond off the enquiry? If he doesn’t find the killer, the truth will be buried forever – and die with Lomond himself. If you like writers like Ian Rankin, JD Kirk, and Stuart MacBride, this addictive thriller will have you gripped until its heart-in-the-mouth climax.
