KEMO M100N Ultrasonic Marten and Rodent Repeller
The KEMO M100N is an ultrasonic repeller designed to protect vehicle engine compartments from martens, mice, and other rodents. The device generates high-frequency ultrasonic signals that are inaudible to the human ear but very unpleasant for pests. As a result, it effectively helps prevent damage to wiring, hoses, insulation, and other vehicle components.
The repeller uses a special hemispherical ultrasonic transducer that emits irregular ultrasonic signals at a frequency of 23 kHz. The wide beam angle, exceeding 140°, allows it to cover a large portion of the engine compartment and increase the effectiveness of protection against unwanted visitors.
The device is designed for installation in the engine compartment or at the vehicle’s entry points. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to position the repeller so that it has as much unobstructed space as possible in the direction of transmission. Ultrasound travels in a straight line, similar to light, so obstacles can limit its range.
The KEMO M100N is manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 60065 standard and meets the relevant safety requirements. When installing the repeller in a vehicle, it is necessary to ensure that it is active only when the engine is off, as required by applicable regulations in European Union countries.
Thanks to its very low power consumption, the device is suitable for long-term operation without placing a significant load on the car battery.
