When something significant happens behind your vehicle, you want to see it just as clearly as the road ahead. The 70mai RC44H rear camera is designed for use with the 70mai A900 dash cam, adding a second recording channel that captures events behind the car in native 4K resolution at a steady 30 frames per second. HDR support and a bright f/1.55 aperture help ensure clear footage, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Every frame remains sharp, even during motion
In traffic, a critical situation can unfold in a fraction of a second; a lower frame rate could cause moving images to appear blurry. The RC44H records at 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) at a steady 30 frames per second—the same as the A900 front camera. The GC8613 sensor captures a true 4K image without digital upscaling, ensuring that maneuvers occurring behind the vehicle remain smooth and clear.
HDR for tunnels, underpasses, and bright sunlight
When transitioning between bright sunlight and shaded sections of the road, footage can often lose critical details. The RC44H’s HDR (High Dynamic Range) function balances the light and dark areas of the image, preserving natural colors and sharp details across varying lighting conditions. On the A900 dash cam, HDR can be activated manually or set to a schedule, so there is no need to fiddle with settings while driving.
More light in low-light conditions
Nighttime footage becomes more detailed the more light the lens directs to the sensor. The RC44H features an f/1.55 aperture—matching the brightness of the A900 front camera lens—which allows more light to reach the sensor, helping to retain detail even in the dark. A 140° field of view covers a wide area behind the vehicle, minimizing the chance that an important event might fall outside the frame.
Easy interior installation
The RC44H is mounted on the inside of the vehicle's rear window, with the lens facing outward. The camera is attached using heat-resistant adhesive and an electrostatic sticker, and is connected to the A900 dash cam via a 7-meter cable with a Type-C connector. With an operating temperature range of –20 °C to 70 °C, the camera can be used in both winter and summer—including inside a car that heats up while exposed to the sun.
