Standard chargers have cables about one metre long, maybe one metre twenty – and those dictate where you can sit. Hardy® 65W has a cable length of up to 3.2 metres, long enough to reach sockets behind furniture, under a café table or in a remote corner of a conference room. No extension cord, no moving furniture – you sit where it suits you.

7.9×5.5 mm connector with signal pin

Business laptops IBM ThinkPad and Lenovo communicate with the charger via a signal pin in the 7.9×5.5 mm socket. The Hardy® connector replicates this pin, so the laptop verifies the charger, optimises the battery charging profile and does not limit CPU power – a full 65W without throttling.

USB-C – one charger for the entire ecosystem

After removing the DC connector, the main cable turns into a full-featured USB-C cable with Power Delivery. The same charger will charge smartphone, tablet, headphones or next-generation laptop, automatically selecting power for the device: up to 65W for the laptop, up to 30W for the tablet, optimally for the phone. One charger replaces a cluster of separate chargers.

CoolPad™ technology – thermally conductive silicone

Inside the casing operates a CoolPad™ thermally conductive silicone pad that takes heat from the power circuits and spreads it across the surface. The charger remains noticeably cooler even after hours of operation, and the lower temperature directly extends the lifespan of the components.

Rugged protection and safety

Hardy® protects equipment at every level. The casing made of flame-retardant material class V0 (UL94 standard) does not support flame, oxygen-free copper OFC ensures cleaner conductivity, and the ferrite core suppresses electromagnetic interference. Four protection circuits – OVP, OCP, SCP and OTP – respond within milliseconds to overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overheating.
