ABOUT THE COFFEE
We have been working with Ivan Solis for many years and are extremely impressed with his coffee. His quality speaks for itself: multiple Cup of Excellence awards. Offered here is an F1 family hybrid, increasingly common in Costa Rica, a coffee with complex acidity and strong fruity notes ranging from plums to blackcurrants. - From the roastery.
ROASTER'S OPINION
In this Costa Rica, we are dealing with a well-balanced bouquet. Relatively low acidity while maintaining a distinct plum, notes of juicy apple, and subtle fruitiness of small purple fruits. All of this against a backdrop of cocoa playing in the background, which also gives a slightly rough texture, especially as the brew cools down.
ROYAL BEANS
What’s behind the name Royal Beans? If Speciality beans are the pinnacle of coffee, our Royal Beans reach the Himalayas! In this series, we present the very top of the coffee pyramid, the crème de la crème, as precious as crown jewels. Anaerobic, Gesha, Nanolot, Lychee – what does it mean to go beyond the ordinary? – Royal Beans is a selection of coffees chosen by us from various roasters – they share exceptional flavor, limited production, unique processing methods, and the highest quality. A treat for coffee connoisseurs (and those aspiring to be)!
