Sand filtration is at the heart of every pool, ensuring that the pool water is high quality and beautifully clean. The SFA 9 is designed for pools up to 45 m3. The filter container is made of high quality polypropylene, holds 75 kg of filter sand and resists corrosion and common pool chemicals. The filter has a powerful 550W pump and is equipped with a coarse dirt pre-filter, which catches all larger dirt. The filter vessel includes a practical drain valve. The filter head is equipped with a 6-way valve, the filter body is mounted on a stable base. Thanks to the powerful pump, the filtration is suitable for users who need to connect pool accessories (e.g. solar heating, vacuum cleaner) to the filtration circuit. The filtration is designed for outdoor use and is weatherproof.
The filter medium is silica sand, which is stored in the filter vessel. The characteristic of silica sand is that it is sharp-edged. Its grains have sharper cut edges than other types of sand, which allows it to trap significantly more dirt. As the pool water passes through the sand in the filter container, even the smallest impurities are trapped in the sand and crystal clear water is returned to the pool. It is basically the same principle as filtering water in nature. To ensure high quality filtration, we recommend rinsing the sand twice a month.
