The new XC RC combines race-proven design with next-generation innovation for maximum confidence and precision. Key improvements: - More volume for better comfort and control at high speeds - Squarer profile for better stability and consistent cornering behaviour - New Race XC Compound for the ideal balance between grip and low rolling resistance - New tyre construction for light weight and durability at the same time Features: - Race XC Compound - One-component compound for consistent racing performance. - Braid - 120tpi multi-layer nylon braid for light weight and great rolling performance. - LITE construction - Super lightweight construction for maximum speed and response. - Tubeless-Ready - TLR technology for easy mounting and bead stability on modern wide rims. Construction: 120tpi, TLR Dimension: 29x2.4 Recommended rim width: 30C Protection: LITE Weight: 690 g (29x2.4) Disciplines: XCC, XCO, XCM, marginally Trail Dry terrain: rocks, hardpack, mixed, marginally loose on hardpack and rough terrain Wet terrain: wet rocks, slippery hardpack, mixed wet roots, marginal wet loose TECHNOLOGY: Race XC Compound Developed by Pirelli engineers and manufactured in Italy, Race XC Compound is the perfect combination of performance and reliability. Proven by victories and podium finishes - from the World Cup to the Cape Epic - it is the fastest compound in Pirelli's MTB range. Designed for maximum chemical grip even on wet surfaces, this compound provides confidence in any conditions. It also offers superior tear resistance, which means excellent mechanical traction and increased puncture protection. Thanks to the single-component formulation, performance remains consistent throughout the life of the tire - even with tread wear - and delivers balanced behavior from the center to the sidewall, ensuring stable feedback in every racing situation and technical passage. LITE construction Super lightweight construction for maximum speed and response. Multi-layer 120 TPI nylon for light weight and excellent rolling resistance. The result is lower weight, higher speed and compliance.
