Guolis Enduro Bearings DR 1017 2RS MAX ABEC 3 Double Row

DR 10177 2RS MAX - MAX-Design, Double Row, Angular-Contact Suspension Bearing - 10mm x 17mm x 6/7mm -

Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. These bearings have 35-40% more load capacity than standard Angular-Contact bearings. We accomplish this with a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings providing greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and dual rubber seals for superior protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside. The extra-wide double-row design greatly reduces flex in the suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area.

This bearing has primarily been used as a suspension pivot bearing, though it has been used in rear hubs occasionally.

The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
