The Godox V1 is an advanced TTL flash for Nikon cameras, equipped with a circular head that provides soft and even lighting across the entire scene. With a flash output of 76 Ws, a recharge time of just 1.5 seconds, and a high-capacity 2600 mAh lithium-ion battery that delivers at least 460 full-power flashes on a single charge, make this flash ideal for dynamic photo shoots. Additionally, full TTL automation, HSS synchronization, and a wide range of head adjustment options provide great flexibility for working in various conditions.
The Godox V1’s round head generates light with even distribution from the center all the way to the edges of the frame, resulting in natural and aesthetically pleasing effects. This design allows you to create pleasant lighting reminiscent of studio strobes. An additional aid when setting up your lighting is the built-in LED modeling light with power adjustment ranging from 1 to 10, which makes it easier to assess the effects before taking the photo.
The flash uses a removable VB26 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which provides at least 460 full flashes on a single charge. This allows you to shoot comfortably for long periods without having to frequently replace the power source. A full-power recharge time of up to 1.5 seconds allows you to quickly take consecutive shots and never miss important moments.
The built-in Godox X 2.4G receiver offers extensive wireless control capabilities and compatibility with other devices in the Godox X system. The flash can operate in Master and Slave modes, allowing you to control up to four groups of wireless flashes. The Godox V1 supports TTL auto mode, manual mode, High-Speed Sync (HSS) with fast shutter speeds, Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC), second-curtain sync, and TTL, Multi, M, S1, S2, Master, and Slave trigger modes.
The Godox V1 offers a wide range of head position adjustments—from 0° to 330° horizontally and from -7° to 120° vertically—which greatly facilitates photography using bounced light. The magnetic accessory mounting system allows for quick attachment of compatible accessories, such as the AK-R1 kit, and the sturdy hot shoe mount ensures the flash is securely attached to the camera. The unit also features a clear LCD display and the ability to update the firmware via a USB connection.
