Golf Speed fans have been waiting for this for a long time: the original Volkswagen Speed rear-window without a hole for the rear window wiper. Originally, the Speed was not supposed to come onto the market in this form, as it was only intended as a one-off for the Wörtersee meeting. Manufactured and designed by Volkswagen trainees at the Wolfsburg plant as a special joint project. This car attracted particular attention at the meeting in Austria, but also at trade fairs and in the Autostadt, and the demand was correspondingly high. Volkswagen opted for a limited edition of 100 pieces in yellow or orange (Lamborghini colors) and a special feature for the Speed was, among others, the rear window without wipers. At that time, you could actually only order the window at a car dealership if you also owned a Golf 5 Speed. This screen has now been reproduced by Volkswagen Classic Parts (while stocks last) and is now available, of course in the usual Volkswagen quality.

By the way: the Golf Mk5 Speed was available in 2005 for a price starting at 30,900 Euros.
