The Peladn G2E Thunderbolt 5 is an advanced docking station that significantly expands the capabilities of modern laptops and computers. It offers up to 120 Gb/s of bandwidth, support for two 8K monitors or a three-screen configuration, fast 140 W Power Delivery charging, a 2.5G Ethernet port, and the ability to expand storage via an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 drive. Additional highlights include smart RGB lighting and a comprehensive set of 13 ports, allowing you to connect multiple devices simultaneously.

Exceptionally fast data transfer and support for 8K monitors

The dock utilizes Thunderbolt 5 technology, providing asymmetric bandwidth of up to 120 Gb/s and bidirectional symmetric bandwidth of up to 80 Gb/s. Such high performance allows you to efficiently handle multiple devices simultaneously, transfer large files, and use advanced applications requiring fast communication between devices. The Peladn G2E also enables you to work with two 8K monitors or a configuration featuring three extended screens. With HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and Thunderbolt 5 ports, you can create a comprehensive workstation for creative work, programming, data analysis, or entertainment.

High resolution and smooth visuals

The dock allows you to harness the full potential of modern high-resolution monitors with high refresh rates. For devices with Thunderbolt 5, it is possible to support a single display at 8K resolution at 60 Hz or 4K at 240 Hz via Thunderbolt, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 2.1 ports. Working with two monitors allows you to display 8K resolution at 60 Hz on both screens or use two 4K monitors at 240 Hz simultaneously. For computers equipped with Thunderbolt 4, the dock supports a single 8K 60 Hz or 4K up to 240 Hz monitor via HDMI, as well as dual-monitor operation at resolutions up to 2 × 4K 60 Hz.

Storage expansion, high-speed networking, and 13 expansion ports

The dock is equipped with an M.2 2280 slot using a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, which allows for the installation of an additional SSD with a capacity of up to 8 TB. The built-in 2.5G Ethernet RJ45 port provides data transfer speeds of up to 2.5 Gb/s, offering 2.5 times the bandwidth of a standard Gigabit Ethernet port. Users also have access to 13 expansion ports, including DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, Thunderbolt 5 ports, SD 4.0 and TF 4.0 card readers, and a headphone/microphone jack. This allows for convenient connection of monitors, storage devices, audio equipment, and many other accessories.

140 W Charging and Broad Compatibility

The upstream Thunderbolt 5 port supports Power Delivery charging up to 140 W, allowing you to work and charge your laptop simultaneously using a single cable. The dock is compatible with devices using Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, USB4, and USB-C. It supports Windows 11 version 23H2 or later and macOS 14.5 or later. The manufacturer has also included a special mode that expands the functionality of Mac mini computers equipped with Apple Silicon M4 and M4 Pro chips.

Smart RGB Backlighting

The built-in RGB strip allows you to customize the dock’s appearance to your preferences. The touch panel lets you switch between various backlight modes, including steady lighting and a breathing effect in several colors. If needed, the backlight can also be turned off completely.
