Scandinavian quality 12C27 steel

The Mora Kansbol is a versatile outdoor knife equipped with a fixed blade made of Swedish stainless steel hardened to 56.5 HRC. Steel with such parameters, is perfect for working knives, as it has high corrosion resistance , retains sharpness for a long time and sharpens easily in field conditions. Stainless steel, unlike carbon steel, does not require special maintenance, except for regular sharpening and keeping the blade clean. The drop-point profile head has a double grind : a Scandinavian grind (in the middle part of the blade) for heavier work and a profiled thinner grind ideal for precision tasks. Additional functionality of the knife is provided by the flat back of the blade, which makes it easier to light a fire with a flint .
