External hard drives are the latest trend. And rightly so, because they can always be transported and connected to another device. The ICY BOX 3620U3 can accommodate up to two hard disks at once. With all current SATA standards are supported, so, for example, older media can still be used.

The installation of hard disks into the IB-3620SU3 is done quickly and easily without any tools. Thanks to the modern EasySwap® technology , they can be replaced quickly at any time. We did not forget the environment either - The ICY BOX has a sleep mode that reduces power consumption to a minimum.

All the versions of Windows from XP and Mac OS X are supported. The connection is done selectively either via a fast USB 3.0, with which the transfer rates of up to 5 Gb per second can be achieved, or eSATA. Each disk is then displayed as an individual drive (JBOD = "Just a Bunch of Disks").

Two to one
Two HDDs can be mounted inside the IB-3620U3. Both HDDs are connected to the PC with a USB 3.0 interface. In this way, a second enclosure is not needed.

Hot tip
Thanks to HotSwap and Plug & Play and their advanced properties, the HDDs can be replaced or removed at any given moment. even while in operation. Without (capacity) Limits
Even though only HDDs up to a height of 8,9 cm are fitting, their storage space is with no limit at all. This way even the largest HDD could be used in the IB-3620U3 without any disturbance.
